Free Standard, Free Basic and publishing

Every new account is Free Standard: you can read, comment, follow, book sessions, subscribe, send gifts and buy, but not publish.

To publish your own journal and earn, apply for Free Basic from your own profile under Rates & payouts. It costs nothing and an admin reviews it; no payment is involved. After that, Pro, Business and Enterprise are paid plans with lower commission and more features.

Your publishing tier shows under your name on your profile, for example "Pro Publisher". A reader shows as "Viewer".
